Neil
Jacoby, CFA, MPA (Economics): President & Chief Investment Officer |
Neil Jacoby oversees the management of Aurion Capital. Neil is
a Portfolio Manager responsible for the Global Derivatives team
and products. A founding partner and member of the senior management
team, he also provides his investment expertise in support of
the Investment Solutions and Portfolio Management teams. Neil
is a member of Aurion Capital’s Asset Mix Committee.
Neil has a long and respected history in the pension fund management
industry, including over 20 years managing a major Canadian pension
fund. Earlier in his career, Neil held positions as Financial
Market Analyst and Trader at the Bank of Canada.
Neil holds a Masters of Public Administration (Economics) from
Queen’s University and a Bachelor of Administration (Distinction
- Economics and Finance) from the University of Regina. He is
a CFA Charterholder. For many years, he was active in the Pension
Investment Association of Canada as Director and Chairman.

Robert
B. Decker, CFA, MBA: Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Equities |
|
Robert Decker is a Portfolio Manager responsible for the Equity
team and products, including research, portfolio construction
and trading. A founding partner, Bob is a member of Aurion Capital’s
Asset Mix Committee.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Bob managed Canadian equities for a
major Canadian pension fund for six years. He has over a decade
of experience managing Canadian equities for large Canadian investment
and insurance companies.
Bob holds an MBA from York University and a BA (Economics) from
the University of Western Ontario. He is a CFA Charterholder.
He is Chair of National Fundraising and a board member for the
Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

Craig
J. MacAdam, CFA, BBA: Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Equities |
Craig MacAdam is a Portfolio Manager with the Equity team responsible
for stock research, security recommendations, portfolio management
and trading activities. Craig joined Aurion Capital in 1998 as
a research analyst and in 1999 left to act as business manager
for singer/songwriter Johnny Reid, returning to Aurion Capital
in 2001.
Craig began his career in the investment industry working in
the finance department of a leading Canadian automotive manufacturer.
Craig holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from
Bishop’s University and is a CFA Charterholder.

Greg
A. Taylor, CFA, BBA: Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Equities |
Greg
Taylor is a Portfolio Manager with the Equity team responsible
for stock research, security recommendations, portfolio management
and trading activities. Greg joined Aurion Capital in 1999.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Greg began his career in the investment
industry as part of the acquisition and disposition team of one
of Canada's largest real estate office and retail property managers.
Greg holds a Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) from
Bishop’s University and is a CFA Charterholder.

James Sotirakopoulos, MBA, BSc: Investment Analyst, Equities |
|
James Sotirakopoulos is an Analyst with the Equity team responsible
for stock research, security recommendations, and research models.
James joined Aurion Capital in 2007.
Prior to Aurion Capital, James worked in the investment industry
with a Toronto based wealth management company.
James received a B.Sc. in Science and Business from the University
of Waterloo and a MBA from Ivey at the University of Western Ontario.
He has completed Level II of the CFA Program.

Christine
Horoyski, CFA, MBA, CA: Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income |
Christine Horoyski is head of the Aurion Fixed Income team, responsible for all fixed income mandates. These includes Nominal bond mandates, inflation linked mandates, and a US Short Term Credit portfolio. Christine is chair of the Asset Mix Committee, and responsible for qualitative & quantitative strategies used to manage the overall asset allocations among various asset classes and within various geographic exposures for our institutional clients. Christine also manages a Tactical Balanced mutual fund following this discipline. Christine joined Aurion Capital in 2003.
Since 1988, Christine held various positions with major financial institutions, and from 1997 onward, was Vice President, Head of Fixed Income for a major insurance company. Her responsibilities included managing the 3rd largest retail bond fund in Canada at the time, along with specialty bond and mortgage funds. During this 10-year tenure, Chris managed over $20 Billion in fixed income assets on an active basis.
Christine holds an MBA from Windsor University and a BA (Economics) from the University of Western Ontario. She is a CFA Charterholder and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Ontario. |

Nicole
T. White, CFA, B.Comm: Director & Portfolio Manager, Fixed Income & Currency |
Nicole White is a Portfolio Manager responsible for currency management, derivative overlays, and Canadian money market. Nicole also supports the fixed income portfolios by monitoring opportunities in global government bond markets. Nicole has been a part of the
Aurion Capital team since 1996 and is a member of the Asset Mix
Committee.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Nicole worked as an investment analyst
for a major Canadian pension fund. She has also worked in the
institutional marketing area of a large investment management
firm.
Nicole holds a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance) from
Guelph University. She is also a CFA Charterholder. |

Derek Johnson, CFA: Director, Fixed Income |

Derek Johnson is responsible for trading and fundamental credit analysis in the corporate bond sector. In addition, he has back-up responsibilities in the management of government and real return bond portfolios. Derek joined Aurion Capital in 2009 bringing over 8 years of industry experience.
Prior to joining Aurion, he worked on the bond desk for a major Canadian bank and for an investment management firm, where he was responsible for credit and equity analysis.
Derek holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (Engineering) from University of Waterloo and he is a CFA Charterholder. |

Eric
Lerner, MBA, P.Eng: Senior Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Real Estate |
Eric Lerner is a Portfolio Manager responsible for the Real Estate
team. He is involved in all aspect of design, creation and management
of client real estate portfolios. Eric has been with Aurion Capital
since 2004.
With more than 30 years of real estate experience. Eric managed
a discretionary portfolio on behalf of a major Canadian pension
fund since 1984. Prior to 1984, Eric worked for 5 years in various
development and property acquisitions positions for Canadian real
estate development companies.
Eric holds an MBA and a degree in Civil Engineering from McGill
University. He has been a member of the Association of Professional
Engineers of Ontario since 1982 and a director of the Pension
Fund Realty Limited since 1985.

Malcolm
Musgrove, MBA, MA: Vice President & Portfolio Manager, Real Estate |
Malcolm Musgrove is a Portfolio Manager responsible for managing
real estate portfolios for assigned clients, including client
reporting, deal flow and deal analysis as well as risk monitoring.
Malcolm joined the Real Estate team in 2006 bringing over 24 years
of real estate and portfolio management experience. He is a member
of Aurion Capital’s Asset Mix Committee.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Malcolm held a range of senior portfolio
management positions in real estate, including 10 years managing
North American real estate for a major Canadian insurance company.
More recently, he acted as an independent consultant to institutional
investors.
Malcolm holds an MA and MBA from the University of Toronto.

Mai Lake, MBA, B.Sc.: Director, Real Estate |
|
Mai Lake is a Portfolio Manager, Real Estate, responsible for analyzing and recommending potential investments
in Canada and the U.S., overseeing the implementation of investment strategies by selected asset managers, and managing ongoing
investments in client portfolios. Mai joined Aurion Capital in 2008.
Mai has over 18 years of experience in all aspects of the commercial
real estate industry. Most recently, she worked at a major international
commercial real estate brokerage, leading a securitization process
and overseeing the treasury aspects of the company. Prior to that
Mai held a series of progressive positions in real estate.
Mai holds an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business and
a Bachelor of Science (Biology) at the University of Western Ontario.

Jill Jamieson, B.Admin.: Investment Analyst, Real Estate |
Jill Jamieson provides portfolio management support to the Real
Estate team. She assists in research and analysis, market research,
reporting, qualitative and quantitative assessment and database
maintenance. Jill joined Aurion Capital in 2006.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Jill held various positions in commercial
and residential real estate including Financial Analyst in the
hospitality REIT area.
Jill holds a Bachelor of Administrative and Commercial Studies
from the University of Western Ontario.

Grant Bunker, MBA: Vice President, Business Development |
Grant Bunker is responsible for promoting and selling the investment products of Aurion Capital within the retail and high-net worth channels. Grant works as part of the Business Development team which has the responsibilities of managing the sales, marketing and client service activities for the firm. Grant joined Aurion in 2009 with over 15 years of investment and insurance industry experience.
Grant was most recently with a leading Canadian energy investment manager where he was responsible for Marketing and Business Development for all of Canada selling flow-through funds, mutual funds and hedge funds to brokers, planners and high-net worth investors. Prior to that, Grant worked as a Regional Sales Manager for a Canadian Managed Futures Fund and prior to that he spent eight years with a major Canadian insurance company.
Grant holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business at York University and a BA (Hons) from the University of Guelph. He is an active member of the Alternative Investment Management Association (AIMA) of Canada and currently sits on its Sales and Practices Committee.

Christopher D.C. Wright, HBA: Vice President, Business Development |
Christopher Wright is responsible for promoting and selling the investment products of Aurion Capital within the institutional and high net worth channels. Christopher works within the Business Development team which has the responsibilities of sales, marketing and client service activities. Christopher joined Aurion Capital in 2009 bringing 25 years of industry experience.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Christopher was responsible for institutional business development across Canada for a leading multinational fund management firm. Christopher has held senior management positions in business development for a number of Canada’s leading institutional fund managers.
Christopher holds a BA in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business. He is a member of the Development and Fundraising Committee for the University of Western Ontario. Christopher is also a member of the President’s Council of St. Michael’s Hospital Foundation, and is a guest speaker at the Rotman School of Management. |

Gregory R. Plant, MBA, CFA, Hons. BA (Economics): Director, Client Service and Marketing |
Gregory Plant is responsible for all aspects of Client Service
and Marketing and is the main point of contact for all clients.
A member of the Business Development team, Gregory joined Aurion
Capital in 2009 to head up the Client Service and Marketing areas
in addition to supporting the sales initiatives.
Gregory has over ten years of experience in the investment management
industry. As part of his diverse background, he has been responsible
for client service and product management in both the institutional
and retail space. Gregory has extensive experience in supporting
high-net-worth and retail distribution channels.
Gregory holds an MBA from York University, a BA (Economics) from
Guelph University, and is a CFA Charterholder.

Dennis Pellarin, CA, BBA: Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operating Officer |
|
Dennis Pellarin is Aurion Capital’s Chief Financial and
Chief Operating Officer responsible for financial and operational
activities including management reporting, compliance and regulatory
matters, information technology, client reporting, and human resources.
Dennis joined Aurion Capital in 2002 and is a member of the senior
management team.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Dennis was President and CFO of a public
investment company for six years. Dennis has also worked in the
audit practice of a major international accounting and consulting
firm.
Dennis holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Wilfrid
Laurier University, and is a member of the Institute of Chartered
Accountants of Ontario.

Rosa Pileggi, CGA, HBA (Economics): Controller |
Rosa Pileggi manages all activities for Aurion Capital’s
accounting and financial statements, budgets, cash management,
banking, audit and tax matters. A member of the Business Services
Group, Rosa joined Aurion Capital in 1998.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Rosa held progressive positions in pensions
for 10 years in various roles including Business Analyst, Systems
Iniatives and Projects, and within management.
Rosa holds an HBA (Economics) from the University of Toronto.
She is a Certified General Accountant and has been involved with
the Toronto Chapter of the CGA’s Student Education and Events
Committees.

Janet
Greenwood, B.Admin, B.A.: Senior Vice President, Investment Solutions |
Janet Greenwood manages the Investment Solutions team. Janet oversees
the comprehensive management structure of institutional pension
funds. This includes investment program design and structuring,
asset mix recommendations, manager research, selection and ongoing
performance analytics, reporting and compliance. A founding Aurion
Capital partner, Janet is a member of the Asset Mix Committee.
Prior to Aurion Capital, Janet worked with a major Canadian pension
fund for 10 years holding managerial and analytic positions within
finance and pensions including Director, Investment Research.
Janet holds a Bachelor of Administration from Wilfrid Laurier
University and a BA (Commercial) from the University of Western
Ontario. She is currently a co-Chair of AIMA Canada Institutional
Committee, a member of Women in Capital Markets and the Investment
Advisory Board for The Salvation Army. She has also been involved
with various PIAC committees and was a past Chair of Girl Guides
Investment Committee.

Adam Bomers, CFA, Hons. B.Comm: Director, Investment Research and Solutions
|
Adam Bomers is a Director on the Investment Solutions team where
he manages investment research on traditional and alternative
asset classes, including multi-manager structure design and recommendations
for DB and DC pension funds. Additionally, he oversees implementation
of investment strategies by portfolio managers and also evaluates
and leads initiatives in the area of risk management. Adam joined
Aurion Capital in 2009 and is a member of the Asset Mix Committee.
Adam brings over 11 years of pension and institutional experience
and has most recently held the position of Manager, Pension Investments
for a large Canadian bank.
Adam holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McMaster University and
is a CFA Charterholder

Megan Ono, B.Math: Director, Performance Analytics |
Megan Ono is Director, Performance Analytics, responsible for portfolio
analytics, performance measurement and attribution analysis. Megan
provides monitoring and analysis of portfolios and mandate benchmarks
and composite returns. A member of the Investment Solutions team,
Megan joined Aurion Capital in 2007.
Megan brings over 8 years performance attribution and analysis
experience and has recently held the position of Senior Business
Analyst for a leading financial software company.
Megan holds a Bachelor of Mathematics from the University of Waterloo
and has obtained Advanced Certification (Business Analysis) from
McMaster University.
